Currently, he serves as President of WGA Services, a transportation consulting firm, and is in his second term as President of CSCMP Great Lakes. Outside of work, Jeremiah enjoys life with his wife, two teenage children, and their pets. He lives in a 117-year-old home in a small town and has a passion for MSU and Detroit sports, vintage Ford tractors, historic homes, golf, and adventure golf carts.

Mr. Semerad has served 37 years US Navy in the Supply Corps and Expeditionary Logistics and has 20+ years in Information Technology at EDS/HP/VisionIT. He has served on several Boards including ASCM (national Vice President), Navy League, veteran groups, Shipmasters, Navy Supply Corps Foundation, etc. He is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He has completed the Jonah program at the Goldratt Institute at Yale University and served as a founding officer of the international Constraints Management committee. He has been a presenter at meetings and conferences, author, and instructor of Supply Chain Management graduate level educational programs.

Jim Howard, Vice President of Business Development at GXO Logistics, is based in Rochester Hills, MI. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science and a double major in Marketing and Logistics. With 21 years of experience across Penske, NFI, DHL, and Transplace-UBER Freight, Jim brings expertise in TMS, Managed Transportation, and Contract Logistics. He has been married for 17 years and is a busy dad to three kids. Outside of work, Jim is a full-time chauffeur for various activities, a volunteer coach, and enjoys mountain biking and fishing. Steve graduated from the University of Toledo with both a bachelor (1987) and master’s degree (1989) in Business Administration. Steve is the Chief Operating Officer of W.F. Whelan Company, a portfolio company of Whelan Capital, LLC, and a recognized leader in foreign trade zone warehousing, third-party logistics, customs brokerage, and distribution services. Prior to joining the Whelan Capital family of companies, Steve had a dynamic and expansive career in operations, materials and logistics management spanning more than 35+ years that included director and general manager-level roles with Penske Logistics and CEVA Logistics. Steve led operations with more than 900 employees and over 3,000 daily truckloads, supporting JIT (Just in Time) transportation, sub-assembly, kitting, and sequencing for a client list that included major manufacturing operations for Ford Motor Company, Subaru, ZF, Lear, Navistar, American Copper and Brass, Mueller Brass, and Emerson Electric. Steve is a member of the University of Toledo Supplier Chain Advisory Council and an active and engage member of the CSCMP Great Lakes Roundtable.
