Jeremiah Beebe - President
Jeremiah is a seasoned business leader with 25 years of experience in logistics and transportation. He holds an MBA from Walsh University and a Bachelor's degree from Detroit College of Business. Currently, he serves as President of WGA Services, a transportation consulting firm, and is in his second term as President of CSCMP Great Lakes. Specializing in need analysis and consultative selling, he focuses on the financial impact of change to drive business growth.
Outside of work, Jeremiah enjoys life with his wife, two teenage children, and their pets. He lives in a 117-year-old home in a small town and has a passion for MSU and Detroit sports, vintage Ford tractors, historic homes, golf, and adventure golf carts.

Jim Semerand - Military Liaison
Mr. Semerad has served 37 years US Navy in the Supply Corps and Expeditionary Logistics and has 20+ years in Information Technology at EDS/HP/VisionIT. He has served on several Boards including ASCM (national Vice President), Navy League, veteran groups, Shipmasters, Navy Supply Corps Foundation, etc. He is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He has completed the Jonah program at the Goldratt Institute at Yale University and served as a founding officer of the international Constraints Management committee. He has been a presenter at meetings and conferences, author, and instructor of Supply Chain Management graduate level educational programs.
Mr. Semerad has a B.S. degree in Computer Science in 1981 and MBA in Management in 1983 from
Louisiana Tech University.
Jim Howard - at large
Jim Howard, Vice President of Business Development at GXO Logistics, is based in Rochester Hills, MI. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science and a double major in Marketing and Logistics. With 21 years of experience across Penske, NFI, DHL, and Transplace-UBER Freight, Jim brings expertise in TMS, Managed Transportation, and Contract Logistics. He has been married for 17 years and is a busy dad to three kids. Outside of work, Jim is a full-time chauffeur for various activities, a volunteer coach, and enjoys mountain biking and fishing. Jim has been involved with CSCMP for the better part of two decades.
Steve Casper - VP of Events
Steve graduated from the University of Toledo with both a bachelor (1987) and master’s degree (1989) in Business Administration. Steve is the Chief Operating Officer of W.F. Whelan Company, a portfolio company of Whelan Capital, LLC, and a recognized leader in foreign trade zone warehousing, third-party logistics, customs brokerage, and distribution services. Prior to joining the Whelan Capital family of companies, Steve had a dynamic and expansive career in operations, materials and logistics management spanning more than 35+ years that included director and general manager-level roles with Penske Logistics and CEVA Logistics. Steve led operations with more than 900 employees and over 3,000 daily truckloads, supporting JIT (Just in Time) transportation, sub-assembly, kitting, and sequencing for a client list that included major manufacturing operations for Ford Motor Company, Subaru, ZF, Lear, Navistar, American Copper and Brass, Mueller Brass, and Emerson Electric. Steve is a member of the University of Toledo Supplier Chain Advisory Council and an active and engage member of the CSCMP Great Lakes Roundtable.

Todd Trudell is an operational business development leader with extensive expertise in complex supply chain solutions. He specializes in consultative and strategic selling, supply chain transformation, and executive operational leadership.
His career has spanned over 35 years with top logistics firms such as Ascent Global Logistics, FedEx Logistics, The Hub Group and YRC Worldwide in sales and operational development roles. , [Your Name] has successfully built teams, developed sales strategies, and driven bottom-line growth.

Jaideep Motwani, Ph.D
Jaideep Motwani, Ph.D is an award-winning and highly accomplished scholar, administrator, and consultant with 34 years of experience in the field of supply chain management and process improvement. What differentiates him from his colleagues and competitors is his dedication to excellence and continuous improvement. After earning his Ph.D. in 1990, Dr. Motwani has published 17 books and more than 300 articles in prestigious journals. Dr. Motwani was ranked among the top 1% of Researchers in the field of technology management and was the recipient of the Michigan Outstanding Educator’s Award granted by the governor of Michigan. Michael is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the Supply Chain and Software industries. In addition to his deep technology background, Michael has extensive experience in Managed Transportation Services (MTS) and Warehousing Services, helping organizations optimize logistics and operational efficiencies.
Michael has led global ERP implementations and training initiatives, working across North America and Europe to drive digital transformation and supply chain optimization. His leadership extends beyond corporate roles, having served on the Board of multiple CSCMP Roundtables, including as National Chair, where he has contributed to advancing industry knowledge and professional development.
