2023 Strategies
Organize and strengthen the new GLR Board, officers and committee chairs ensuring leadership alignment, responsibility, and organizational activity that deliver to our mission, vision, and strategies.
Identify, schedule, plan and deliver at least six Roundtable events on an annual basis that address industry challenges, promote personal development and industry networking managed by a dedicated event director focused on delivering a “Best in Class” professional event.
Identify at least four university partners and align GLR leadership engagement with regional educators, on-campus student organizations in support of student scholarships, internships, employment, and educational opportunities.
Align at least three key business partners and organizational leadership, ensuring engagement with regional educators and students that deliver value in the form of grants, professional services, and industry workshops, as well as four student internships and two employment opportunities.
Complete the merger of the Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan Roundtables into the Great Lakes Roundtable (GLR) and ensure a unified organizational focus on delivering to our 2023 strategies for the benefit of our stakeholders.
Mission
Our mission is to provide great value to our members, build strong relationships with members and our regional educators, to engage students in CSCMP development, develop internships, and employment opportunities through our business partners, promote a culture of life-long education, and strive to support the growth of regional roundtables.

Drive consistency of organizational purpose and process by ensure the GLR Board, officers, committee chairs and members are aligned with our annual organizational strategies which support achievement of the Organizational Vision and Mission.
Delivery “Best in Class” professional organization Roundtable events that address industry challenges, encourage personal development, and social events that promote industry networking opportunities for our stakeholders.
Develop strong relationships with regional educators, participate in university sponsored events, and engage students and student organizations in Roundtable activities and support student education, scholarships, internships, and employment opportunities
Promote the engagement of our business partners in university supported grants, professional services, and workshops, as well as student internships and employment opportunities.
Ensure strong value delivery to our membership, regional educators and students, business partners, and corporate leadership that ensures organizational growth and the growth of regional roundtables (West Michigan, Northwestern Ohio, and Ontario).
